Projects

Working with our clients to improve sustainability

How we are achieving this.
  • Through recycling bulky Green waste to commercial recycling centres such as Veolia in Southwark
  • Composting lighter material such as grass, leaves, and organic debris in specially constructed compost bins at our sites
  • Recycling plastic plant pots and trays at Municipal Council recycling centres in each borough in which we operate
  • Promoting the ecological benefits of installing Bird Boxes, Bat Boxes and Bug Hotels
  • Promoting the ecological benefits of creating wildflower meadows
  • Promoting the  ecological benefits of creating, developing and maintaining Green Roofs
  • Allowing grass to grow a bit longer in order to retain moisture in the soil, and retain insect and bug life in the grass thicket
  • Reduction, and where possible the elimination of the use of Herbicides and Pesticides in our work
  • Promoting more naturalistic planting such as wildflowers, grasses, bee and insect-friendly trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants
  • Encouraging our clients to replace some existing trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants with pollinating plants
